Archdeals.com is a concept for a web-based consumer organisation with negotiates better deals for ordinary consumers, aiming to give them access to deals and higher levels of service usually available only to clients with significant buying power.

The client's request was the following:

"The values which it must communicate are stability, integrity and a sense of power for consumers. The design style and layout will to some degree reflect the values conveyed by banks and leading insurer sites, but with a less “big business” feel. The site must convey a feeling of accessibility and control to consumers, reflecting the company's aim that they are there to work for them.

 In particular the site design should be seen as:

• Secure - a safe place for Members to submit personal information; SSL has to be used.

• Easy to use;

• Established and stable 

• A bit exclusive – we want consumers to think that they are “on to something” by joining us."
